WHAT WINNERS SAY

“Exploring the credibility of green brands' purpose in sustainability communication has been an immensely enriching journey, shaping not only my academic pursuits but also deepening my understanding of the interaction between marketing and sustainability. Congratulations to all fellow winners, and heartfelt thanks to the Edcom Graduation Competition team for this prestigious recognition. Receiving acknowledgment for the efforts of the past months in this manner is incredibly gratifying and serves as a powerful motivation to continually push personal boundaries. Thank you so much!”

Ines Muthenthaler, FH Wiener Neustadt 2024 Winner

"I am deeply honoured to accept this award. Crafting my thesis was a journey filled with challenges and self-doubt, but I persevered. Winning this competition reaffirms that determination and hard work truly pay off. Let this be a reminder to never underestimate your own potential, for greatness awaits those who refuse to give up."

Napsugár Gulyás, Breda University of Applied Sciences 2024 Winner

"Winning the EDCOM graduation competition has been an incredibly meaningful experience for me. I chose a thesis topic that truly fascinated me, and that passion made the writing process both engaging and enjoyable. Exploring the wellness field and having the opportunity to showcase my work through this competition has been incredibly rewarding. Having my work recognised and appreciated on a European level was something I did not expect, which made this achievement even more special. I could not be happier or more thankful to have been part of it.”

Rachael Brady 2026 Winner

"Travelling to Tuvalu to make a documentary and working with electrophysiological equipment to measure the film’s emotional impact for my graduation project was already a unique experience. Being recognised and appreciated on an international level gives me a real boost of confidence. I’m grateful to everyone who supported me, and it was a privilege to raise awareness about this research approach as well as Tuvalu and its rising sea levels.”

Vita Luijten 2026 Finalist

“This recognition feels incredibly rewarding, as it speaks not only to the outcome but my entire creative and research journey behind it - the doubts, the revisions, and the moments of discovery along the way. It gives my research a strong foundation to continue evolving and serves as immense motivation. I am grateful to the jury and everyone involved in the process for seeing value in my work.”

Viktoriya Beshovishka 2026 Finalist

"Creativity was always something that frightened me. It's often defined as being both useful and original, and for a long time i wasn't sure if I could be either. When AI began reshaping creativity, I wanted to challenge the potential of its use in marketing, and I'm so glad I did. This journey pushed me more than I ever expected, and I owe so much to my supervisor who helped me think deeper, aim higher and trust my own creative ideas. Thank you so much to the Edcom Graduation Competition for recognising my work. Placing third means a lot to me and I really hope it encourages others to take part, take creative risks and explore new technologies like AI with curiosity rather than fear."

Rachael Lamb 2026 Finalist

I am very honored that my bachelor's thesis has received such recognition. By participating in the competition, I was able to delve deeper into the topic and also learn from my personal experiences.only of my research, but also of the passion and dedication I put into this topic. Employee engagement and internal communication are subjects I truly believe in, especially within complex healthcare collaborations. This result confirms for me that communication can make a real difference in organizations and in the experiences of employees. It motivates me to continue developing myself within the field of strategic communication and to keep working on themes such as connection, identity and engagement. Most of all, this achievement makes me proud and grateful, for the opportunity to share my research, for the valuable feedback I received, and for everyone who supported me along the way.
