Board
James is the Chairman of the UK Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP) and of Credos, advertising’s think-tank. He was the Chairman of BMP DDB from 1989 -2000, after starting as a trainee planner at BMP in 1975. In 1991, he became a member of the DDB Worldwide board, and served as President of the network’s Northern Europe and MEA regions and then as Chief People & Strategy Officer before retiring from DDB in 2007. He was the Chairman of the UK Advertising Association from 1997- 2002, President of the EACA 2003-2005 and on the Advertising Standards Authority Council from 2007-2011. James is a Trustee of the History of Advertising Trust, a Visiting Professor at Richmond International University in London, and a Fellow of the IPA.

Anne Castermans, Belgium
Anne holds a degree in business and finance from the ICHEC, Brussels and has twelve years of teaching experience as a lecturer at University College (EPHEC) in the subjects of marketing, sales, and on-offline communication. Anne also has twenty years of experience in business, of which 10 years with Henkel, dealing with advertising budgets with Euro RSCG, TBWA, VVL-BBDO. Alongside this, she also has experience working in the field of auditing and improving quality in the private sector: by implementing a quality strategy and auditing for companies like Delvaux and Toyota, as well as in the education sector: by meeting the auditing experts assessing the quality of courses.
Martin has over 10 years experience as an Art Director with various advertising agencies and 20 years as managing director of several advertising agencies in Dordrecht and Rotterdam, with a special focus on fundraising for several Dutch NGO’s. He worked for 3 years as a freelance senior consultant for various advertising agencies and multi-nationals based in the Netherlands. Martin has been a senior lecturer of the Ichthus Hogeschool in Rotterdam for 5 years and a full-time senior lecturer at the Hogeschool Utrecht for 25 years. He was also the co-developer of the Fundraising and Grantmaking program and of the bachelor program Communication and Media Design and developed the Bachelor International Commercial Communication at Hogeschool Utrecht.
