About Elissa
Elissa is founder and Director of Attitude Inc., a consulting and training company which works with senior executives and their teams to win and grow business and negotiate better deals. Both her time spent as a Marketing Director and her background in Psychology means she brings both a practical skills based approach and scientific rigour to all of her workshops. Much of Elissa’s time is spent developing and delivering training for clients including programmes on presenting, negotiating, influencing, sales, business development, leadership and pitching. While based in London, Elissa works globally consulting on deals across five continents. Her clients include the BBC, MediaCom, Viacom, MSN, Microsoft, Zenith, Zenith Optimedia, Google, M&C Saatchi, IPA, Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO, Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson and Saatchi & Saatchi.
About this workshop
This session will explore how to build immediate rapport with your clients, especially those with different communication styles to your own. We will start by exploring your personal business communication preferences and then discuss how this impacts your client communication. We will then look at tools and techniques to help you adapt your style to match that of your client, both in general conversation, written communication and when presenting. In addition, we will explore how to plan effectively for internal and external conversations, develop and refine the art of questioning and listening, how to discern decision making criteria, develop persuasive messages and handle difficult conversations. Finally, we will use techniques from psychology to enhance your confidence in general communication. This will be a highly interactive session with lots of group discussion and exercises, come prepared to have some fun.

About Dietmar
Dietmar started teaching "Advertising" in 2005 at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Germany, winning gold and silver 12 times with his students at the Young Directors’ Award in Cannes. In winter 2009, he also started teaching "Advertising-Film" at the Werbe Akademie, Vienna, and one year later "Online Publishing" at the faculty of Multi-Media Arts at the University of Applied Arts in Salzburg. He gives seminars on branding, multi-media, advertising film, idea generation, concept and campaign building and creative thinking for the Art Directors Club in Germany, the Creative Club Austria and various international festivals, workshops and seminars. He is the Cofounder of various communication start up’s including innovative ways to use the latest high tech (incl. the blockchain) for communication, advertising and brand building.

In addition to working in brand Marketing Richard has worked for Publicis Worldwide where he led the agency’s P&G business in EMEA for several years while running Publicis Groupe’s African expansion in parallel. Richard is an award-winning diversity advocate and has been recognised as a ‘Male Agent of Change’ by the Women’s Business Council & Management Today, as well being ranked in the top 12 men championing women in business by the Financial Times. This highly-interactive workshop will show participants how to set up a project, how to deliver with control, and how to tackle the inevitable issues that arise. They will learn about the five phases of a project, and why they are important.
