EACA announces launch of Inspire! by eaca

The European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) has launched Inspire! by eaca, a single hub for education and training opportunities in the commercial communications industry.

Inspire! by eaca aims to raise industry standards by providing innovative and customised education and training solutions to its main stakeholders, young and senior professionals, academics and students.

The European Institute for Commercial Communications Education (edcom) is an integral part of Inspire! by eaca and plays an important role in bridging the gap between academia and professionals in the advertising industry. Through this single hub, students from over 20 countries will still have access to edcom’s annual competitions and projects whilst also being able to browse through future training opportunities for young professionals in the industry. In addition to sharing best practice and enjoying European exchanges, edcom academics will also benefit by being able to establish closer relationships with young and senior professionals.

Continuous professional development for both junior and senior professionals is critical to keep up with the fast pace of today’s industry. Being fully aware of this necessity, EACA has established partnerships with key players in the industry to ensure that professionals possess the skills that are needed tomorrow. Young professionals can choose among certification courses offered in partnership with the IPA (The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising), LENS Academy and the IPM (The Institute of Promotional Marketing), as well as Google Masterclasses and Squared Online. This offer also extends to senior professionals who are looking to expand their knowledge and improve their skills.

The EACA International School of Advertising & Communications has been rebranded The EACA Academy, and offers a wide range of seminars and workshops taught by leading advertising practitioners from across Europe.

EACA Director General Dominic Lyle summarises: „Our aim is to create a single hub where not only industry professionals but also academics and students can turn for a wide range of education and training opportunities.  Inspire! by eaca will open up opportunities for our various target groups from which our industry will ultimately benefit.”
