IADE

IADE University intends to explore the cultural heritage and connect that to the sciences and contemporary art. As a pioneering institution in cultural and creative education in Portugal, the main focus of the university is on Design. IADE-U Institute of Art, Design and Enterprise – University is the new official name of the oldest institution of higher education in design in Portugal. IADE thus rose in 2012, a new level in its long journey of more than four decades and becomes University Institute. This is an achievement that is the result of the ability to create, transmission and dissemination of culture, knowledge, science and technology through education and research. IADE is now a faculty of the European University of Lisbon.

Prof. Ph.D. Rodrigo Morais

Ph.D. in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Master in Contemporary Communication from Faculdade Cásper Líbero. Postgraduate in Marketing and Advertising Communication from Faculdade Cásper Líbero. Graduated in Graphic Design from Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo. Experienced in design and communication, which emphasizes advertising creation, creativity, and semiotics. Currently coordinator of the Master’s Program in Design & Advertising at IADE – Universidade Europeia in Lisbon and coordinator of the Pedagogical Practices in the same institution. He has worked in programs at institutions such as Faculdade Cásper Líbero, Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo, Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, and Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz. The main subjects taught at these institutions are semiotics, creative advertising, art direction, advertising design, and visual communication. Advisory Professor winner of DC’21 Bordallo Pinheiro by IADE in 2021, the 37th APP University Advertising Campaigns Contest in 2016, the 38th APP University Advertising Campaigns (Art Direction) Contest in 2017, and the Best Advisory Professor by Faculdade Cásper Líbero in 2016. Member of the following associations: International Association of Semiotics (IASS /AIS), International Association of Visual Semiotics (IAVS/AISV), and Association Française de Sémiotique (AFS).

Technological University Dublin

Both the Masters in Advertising and the Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising and Digital Communications programmes are part of the School of Marketing, Technological University Dublin. The mission of the School of Marketing centres on teaching and learning, research, industry partnership and community contribution. The School seeks to

Throughout both programmes relevant for membership a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies are employed. This generally includes lectures, guest lectures, case study, presentations, debate, discussion and self-directed learning in addition to group directed learning. It is intended to provide the students with a stimulating learning environment conducive to the attainment of the learning outcomes of the programmes.

Rosie Hand

Dr. Rosie Hand is the Head of Advertising and Communications in the School of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at TU Dublin and  leads the strategic and operational management of all advertising and creative commercial communications programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels.

She has a deep commitment to both curriculum re- engineering and programme development and delivers a suite of new programmes in Creative Commercial Communications in partnership with industry body, IAPI.  These programmes are cornerstones of both the School of Marketing and Entrepreneurship and the total Faculty of Business offering and are a catalyst for research activity within the University.

Central to Rosie’s skillset is the management of key stakeholder relationships which bridge the academy and the business community, including IAPI (Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland), AAI (Association of Advertisers in Ireland), Marketing Institute, and ASAI (Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland. She has built an extensive network in the marketing, advertising and communications industries and is the TU Dublin representative in Edcom (European Institute for Commercial Communications Education).

University of Economics Prague

The University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) is the biggest public university of economics in the Czech Republic. There are aproximately 18,000 students enrolled each year. The university currently cooperates with more than 220 partner universities worldwide and is a member of numerous international organisations and networks such as the international strategic alliance CEMS (Global Alliance in Management Education) and PIM (Partnership in International Management) and edcom.
