ECS (Brussels)

ECS Brussels is a communications school that is part of the MediaSchool. ECS Brussels aims to shape the next generation of communications professionals and prepare them for the job market. Offering a bachelor degree and various master programs, ECS is part of an international network of schools. Its methodology involves case studies and internships from the first year onwards and courses are being taught in French or English by professionals active in the fields of advertising, P.R., events, journalism, marketing and digital communication.

Barbara Claeys

Graduated in Business with a major in marketing at ICHEC, Barbara accumulated over 22 years of experience in the world of advertising and media. She began her career at IP Belgium (RTL Group), spent 3 years in London in the audit & consultancy Fairbrother Lenz Eley home, then spent 12 years in international media planning at Havas & Mediabrands (IPG Group). She joined MediaSchool Group in 2012 to lead ECS Brussels as well as the new digital school, #SupDeWeb launched back in 2015.

Howest, University of Applied Sciences

In 1995, Howest, University of Applied Sciences became a single autonomous Higher Education Institution because of a merger of six prominent institutions of higher education in Flanders. Lieselot Vandamme

Lieselot Vandamme is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Communications Management in Howest University College, Kortrijk, Belgium. She is also acting as International Relations Officer of the cluster Business and Media. She holds an MA in History, an MA in Radio & Television and a postgraduate in Business Management. Her academic work focuses on various fields such as Media, Corporate Communication, Storytelling and Sustainability. Prior to full-time lecturing, Lieselot worked as Producer and Editor of television programmes for public and private television channels in Flanders. This position allowed her to experience various aspects of the communication sector.

Hogeschool Gent

HOGENT is the largest University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Flanders offering a wide range of programmes at eight campuses across the cities of Ghent and Aalst, in the Flemish part of Belgium.

HOGENT consists of 8 Schools: School of Teacher Training, School of Healthcare, School of Social Welfare, School of Built Environment, School of IT and Digital Innovation, School of Business and Management, School of Bioscience and Industrial Technology, School of Arts.

Jo De Bruyn

Jo De Bruyn, lic. German Phil (RU Gent) and post-univ. courses Marketing and sales Ehsal (Brussels), has a wide experience in marketing & communications. He started In different Belgian communication agencies as a direct marketing expert & client director. In 1996 he founded In Concreto, a no-nonsense communication agency specialized in action marketing. From 2014 Jo is also leading the DM Institute, a community of 300 direct and digital marketeers in Belgium in order to inspire each other with clear cases and workshops. From 2015 Jo is also lector for Direct & Digital Marketing courses for all the marketing communication students of HoGent. He is an interactive coach in order to create the right atmosphere to give each other deep insights and creative, inspiring point of views. His motto: All communication should add to your business-goals.
