EACA launches 8th edition of the successful EACA International Advertising Summer School
During the week of 3rd July 2017, EACA and edcom will welcome over 60 advertising & commercial communications students and young professionals from across Europe to the EACA International Advertising Summer School in Prague (Czech Republic).
Participants will be following daily workshops by leading advertising professionals while working in international multidisciplinary teams for this year’s client, McDonalds, the famous American hamburger and fast food restaurant chain. At the end of the week, they will present their campaigns to an external jury composed of client representatives, industry professionals and representatives of creative agency, DDB Prague.
University students will take part in the Foundation Programme, where they will be trained in the main disciplines of advertising, such as the future of brands and marketing in a digital world, programmatic advertising, creativity, presentation skills and more. New this year is a visit to the Google offices, a competitive advertising scavenger hunt in the heart of Prague and a networking evening with young professionals.
Young professionals will participate in the Advanced Programme, which focuses on workshops such as programmatic advertising, how to break creative limits, strategic planning, personality planning and connecting your content to an audience. They will also have the opportunity to meet aspiring students from the Foundation Programme and to give them any tips on the whats and hows of a professional career in the advertising industry.
The fee for students from edcom member schools is €325 (as opposed to €450), while the fee for young professionals from EACA members is €650 (as opposed to €800). Interested students or professionals can apply by sending their CV and motivation letter to inspire@eaca.eu by 3 May 2017.
